About this loop

The standard 3/8" cutter is taller and heavier than the LP version, which suits saws with more displacement and torque. Pair it with a square full-chisel corner and you get a fast, aggressive cut, at its best in clean logs and felling cuts. That speed comes with a warning: this chain is not low-kickback, so it is for experienced users only. Stihl, Echo and Homelite saws with an 18-inch 3/8" .050" bar take this loop. Our part 3D066X is German steel with quenched rivets and chrome-plated, cold-headed cutters.

  • Fits 18-inch Stihl, Echo and Homelite bars stamped 3/8" pitch and .050" gauge with 66 drive links.
  • Matches the 33RS 66 size; full 3/8" pitch is not interchangeable with 3/8" LP, so check the stamp.
  • Square full-chisel corners slice clean timber quickly, well suited to felling and bucking seasoned logs.
