About this loop

Most 18-inch low-profile chains carry 62 links, so a generic loop will be one link too long and run slack even at full tension. Ours has 61. The longer bar gives the MS211 extra reach for firewood rounds and fallen trunks, and low-profile semi-chisel cutters keep the load on the engine reasonable. Read your bar stamp to confirm 18" and .050", then count. Part 1B0Q61X uses German steel plates, hardened rivets and chrome-plated cutters ground on rotary machines, and it meets ANSI B175.1-2012 low-kickback performance.

  • Fits the Stihl MS211 and MS211C with an 18-inch bar: 3/8" LP pitch, .050" gauge, 61 drive links.
  • One link shorter than the common 62-link 18-inch loop, so a generic chain would run slack on this bar.
  • Low-profile semi-chisel cutters keep engine load moderate when a mid-size Stihl pulls a longer bar.
  • Three loops per pack, coated in anti-rust oil so the spares stay clean in a saw case.
