About this kit

The three round files cover the common cutter sizes: 5/32" for 1/4" and 3/8" LP chains, 3/16" for .325", and 7/32" for full 3/8" pitch. The size instructions in the box show which is which. A filing guide holds the file at the right height on the cutter, and the depth gauge tool with the 6-inch flat file lets you lower the rakers as the cutters wear back. The hardwood handle fits each file. Everything rolls into a red travel pouch, so the kit rides in a saw case or truck, and it works with every brand of chainsaw.
