About this loop

Replacement chains for these saws can be hard to find, because a .058" gauge at .325" pitch is less common than the usual .050". A mismatched chain either binds in the groove or flops around in it. We make this loop in full chisel, which gives these strong-running engines a quick cut through clean firewood. Keep it out of the dirt to hold the edge, and note that it is not low-kickback, so it suits experienced users. Models 8901 and 8902 take the same chain.
