About this loop
A 10-inch cordless saw lives on the garage wall and comes out for fallen branches, fence-line brush and the odd bit of kindling. It rarely gets sharpened on time, so having two spare loops ready is the practical fix. Our R40-size chain uses the narrow .043" gauge these bars are cut for, plus low-profile teeth that ask little of a small motor. Owners of the LCS1020 and CMCCS610D1 use the same loop. We punch the plates from German steel, quench the rivets and oil every chain before it leaves us. Part 1B4Q40X.
- Fits Ryobi P546, Worx WG322, LCS1020 and CMCCS610D1 ten-inch cordless chainsaws; also listed as the R40 size.
- The narrow .043" gauge suits lightweight battery bars; check your stamp, since some 10-inch bars read .050".
- Low-profile cutters take a shallow bite, which keeps a small battery motor from bogging down in hardwood branches.
- Hardened, quenched rivets limit stretch, so you spend less time retensioning between cuts on a short bar.
