Fifty-six links on a 10-inch bar is a lot of teeth, and that density is the point: each cutter takes a small bite, so the pole motor keeps its speed and the cut stays controllable at full reach. Stihl pole owners use these for pruning, opening sight lines along driveways and removing crossing branches. Look for the 71PMM3 code on your old chain box, or confirm with your bar stamp before ordering. We make part 4A4Q56X from German steel with quenched rivets, then chrome-plate and cold-head the semi-chisel cutters.
