About this loop

When the bar is buried deep in a big log, a standard chain fills its gullets and the saw slows. Skip tooth removes cutters from the sequence, leaving room for chips to escape and reducing the load on the engine. It is a smart choice for large softwood and for saws that feel underpowered on a long bar. Stihl owners know this as the 33RS 84 size (the bar may be stamped 25" or 24"), and Husqvarna lists it as H47S-84. Full chisel, not low-kickback. Part 2D0F84X, also matching 72EXJ084G.
