Because so many brands share this spec, the bar stamp is your best guide. Read the stamp, count the links: 3/8" LP, .050" and 16" on the bar, 56 on the old loop. If all of them match, the brand on the powerhead does not matter. These saws typically cut firewood, clear storm damage and trim fence lines, so we chose semi-chisel cutters that stay useful when the wood is dirty. Our part 1B0Q56X uses German steel, hardened rivets and chrome-plated cutters, and three loops come oiled in every box.

  • Fits 16-inch Craftsman, Poulan, Ryobi, Echo and Greenworks saws that use the S56 chain size.
