About this loop

Gauge is the detail people miss most often at this size. Portland, Greenworks, Kobalt, Remington and Sun Joe have all built 8-inch tools with the .050" groove, and a thinner chain would wobble in it and wear the bar rails unevenly. We make this loop with 33 drive links, 3/8" low-profile pitch and semi-chisel cutters that forgive the odd nick into soil. The steel is German, the cutters are cold-headed and ground on rotary machines, and each loop ships oiled. Our part number is 1B0Q33X.
